Directions from Atlanta Airport to ETHICON,Inc.
When traveling from Hartsfield International Airport, follow I-85 through downtown Atlanta. Continue I-85 North. Proceed to Exit 113 (bear to the left) a sign showing Gainesville, I-985. Remain on I-985 North; I-985 will change to GA 365 at Exit #24 (at Exit #24 you are approximately 27 miles from where you will be exiting off GA 365). You will then enter a Controlled Access stretch of highway; the exits are not numbered. At the first exit - sign states "Cornelia, Baldwin, Mt. Airy" exit - you are approximately one mile from your exit point. You will exit off at the second exit - a large sign to the right states "Clarkesville, Demorest, Helen" exit. At the end of exit take a RIGHT and you are approximately 1/4 mile from the ETHICON FACILITY which is on the right. If you take a left at the end of the exit, you are approximately 1/4 mile from the COMFORT INN which is located on the left, if you take a right you are right at the HOLIDAY EXPRESS.

Directions from Zaragosa Bridge to the ETHICON - Juarez plant
Take I-10 East and take the Zaragosa Exit and follow the signs for the Zaragosa Bridge.

Once over the border go approximately 1 mile. The road will fork off to the left. Turn at this point to the left and stay on this road until you reach a traffic light. There will be a small store on your right side.

Make a right and stay on this road for approximately 3-4 miles. This street is named "Jilotepec". You will go through several lights on this road. Be sure to watch your speed, and the local police do seriously enforce the speed limit.

You will see a Burger King on your left side. Make a left hand turn here, which is Avenue de la Torres.

Stay on Avenue de la Torres. Go straight through the 1st light. The ETHICON plant is the second plant on your right. It is a pumpkin orange color. Go to the gate and tell the guard who you are there to see.

Note that unless you already have one you will need to have a visitor permit(an FMN form) completed at the Customs office at the border. For more information on this, discuss with the person(s) you are going to Juarez to visit. They will review the process with you.

Be sure to bring your passport and/or your original birth certificate (not a copy).

Directions from Airport to ETHICON:
As you exit the airport, turn right onto Knickerbocker Road. Stay on Knickerbocker Road until you come to Bryant Boulevard (approximately 4-5 miles). Turn left onto Bryant Blvd and get into the right-hand lane. Stay on Bryant Blvd until you come to the Houston Harte Freeway (approximately 4- 5 miles; a McDonald's Restaurant is on the right). Turn right (just past the McDonald's) and stay in the right-hand lane. At the third light you will be at the intersection of Houston Harte Freeway and Main Street. Turn to the right and get in the left-hand lane. You will go over a railroad track and come to a light at the intersection of Main Street and Pulliam Street. Turn left on Pulliam and go past one light (Bell Street) (about 2 or 3 miles). Continue straight on Pulliam and ETHICON will be on the left side of the road. Turn left at the main front entrance and take a left at the dead end and go up to the top parking lot.

Directions from Airport to Hampton Inn:
As you exit the airport, turn right onto Knickerbocker Road. Stay on Knickerbocker Road until you come to Loop 306. Go across the bridge and turn left onto the access road of Loop 306. Stay on the access road until you come to College Hills Blvd (approximately 1-2 miles) and turn left. Go under the overpass and immediately turn left at the light. The Hampton Inn will be on the right side of the street.

Directions from Hampton Inn to ETHICON:
Exit the Hampton Inn Parking lot and turn right onto the Loop 306 access road. Stay on the access road (approximately 1-2 miles) until you come to Knickerbocker Road. Turn left onto Knickerbocker Road and get into the left-hand lane. Go past eight traffic lights until you come to Bryant Blvd. and turn left. Stay on Bryant Blvd until you come to the Houston Harte Freeway (approximately 4- 5 miles; a McDonald's Restaurant is on the right). Turn right (just past the McDonald's) and stay in the right-hand lane. At the third light you will be at the intersection of Houston Harte Freeway and Main Street. Turn to the right and get in the left-hand lane. You will go over a railroad track and come to a light at the intersection of Main Street and Pulliam Street. Turn left on Pulliam and go past one light (Bell Street) (about 2 or 3 miles). Continue straight on Pulliam and ETHICON will be on the left side of the road. Directions from Luis Munoz Marin International Airport to ETHICON - San Lorenzo
From the rental car offices, take exit road to Rio Piedras Road # 17 Teodoro Moscoso Bridge. ($1.50 Bridge Toll). After toll booth follow sign to Rio Piedras Road # 17. Go through 3 traffic lights. After the 3rd light, bear right at the exit sign marked "Caguas". Travel 2 miles and bear left at Y-intersection. The left lane will put you on Road # 52 to Caguas. Travel 12 miles on Road # 52 to the toll booth. (50 cents toll). After toll both, take IMMEDIATE exit to Road # 1 towards "HUMACAO". Go under the overpass and take the IMMEDIATE right exit to "HUMACAO". (Exit before the light). Bear left to get on Road # 30 to "HUMACAO". Travel approximately 5 miles and take Exit #6 to SAN LORENZO (Sign reads Highway 203 South, San Lorenzo). Travel approximately 4 miles on Hwy 203. You will pass through a steep intersection with a traffic light. Following this, you will drive over a bridge and take the next exit to your right (this exit is not numbered or named). You will follow around a small hill and immediately bear right. A quarter of a mile up on the left will be the white fence of ETHICON San Lorenzo Plant. Turn left and proceed to the Front Gate guard.

Take Route 287 South to Exit 17 (formerly exit 13) to Route 202,206 South. Travel approximately 1.5 miles to Route 22 West. Travel .5 miles on Route 22 West. The ETHICON site will be on right. Take appropriate entrance.

From Points East of Somerville (Newark-New York)
Take New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 10. Follow signs to Route 287 North and travel approximately 14.5 miles. Take Exit 14B-Route 22 West-for 4 miles to ETHICON site. Take appropriate entrance.

From Newark International Airport
Take Route 78 West to exit for Route 287 So. Follow signs to Exit 17 for Route 22 West. Travel .5 miles on Route 22 West to the appropriate entrance for ETHICON.

From New Brunswick
Take Route 527 Easton Ave., toward Bound Brook for approximately 5 miles, to Route 287 North. Travel 4 miles to Exit 14B-Route 22 West. Travel .5 miles on Route 22 West to ETHICON site. Take appropriate entrance.

From Points South of Somerville (Camden-Philadelphia)
Take New Jersey Turnpike North to exit 10, Metuchen. Follow signs to Route 287 North and travel approximately 14.5 miles to Exit 14B-Route 22 West. Travel .5 miles on Route 22 West to the ETHICON site. Take appropriate entrance.

From Trenton and Princeton
Take Route 206 North to the Somerville traffic circle. Take Route 28 West/Clinton approximately .7 miles to the traffic light First Ave./Country Club Road. Turn right at the Sunoco Gasoline Station traveling .5 miles across Route 22. Take first driveway on the right to ETHICON, main entrance.

From Points West of Somerville
Take Route 78 East to Exit 18-Annandale, then Route 22 East toward Somerville for approximately 13 miles. Take ETHICON Drive jug handle. Take left going back on 22 West. Entrance on right.

From Points South-West of Somerville (Flemington-New Hope)
Take Route 202 toward Somerville. Take Raritan exit jug handle turn left on First Ave. crossing Route 202 travel 1 mile, cross Route 22. Take first driveway on the right to ETHICON main entrance.
