Two minimally invasive options for the treatment of hemorrhoids have both been shown to reduce post-operative pain and need for analgesics, while facilitating an earlier return to work when compared to traditional and electrocautery hemorrhoidectomy procedure approaches.
Procedure for the Prolapse of Hemorrhoids (PPH) has a unique advantage over traditional hemorrhoidectomies because the procedure is performed above the dentate line inside the anal canal, affecting fewer nerve endings.
